The Annual Secular Franciscan Pilgrimage Day is on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the St. Kateri National Shrine in Fonda.  [OFS_Day_Aug-10-2026_Flyer]

“We are privileged this year to have Br. Cristofer Fernandez, OFM Conv., as our guest speaker,” notes Layna Maher, OFS, vice minister, St. Kateri Tekakwitha Region, and minister of St. Thomas More Fraternity, Fonda.

“Fr. John Rufo, OFM Conv., will be the Celebrant for the Holy Mass at 10:30.” Brother Cristofer will speak at 1 p.m. following lunch.

“Our local St. Thomas More fraternity will supply bottled water and cookies for dessert. This is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship of our Regional Fraternity. We understand this may be too far for some to travel, so please join us in prayer that day as we will pray for peace and for the poor.”
