Pius X Fraternity Elects, Professes 6, Honors 6

Gloria House, SFO, was re-elected minister of St. Pius X Fraternity during a chapter of elections held June 16 at Immaculate Heart Church in Painted Post, NY. This is her third term. With permission from the Regional Council, the fraternity’s chapter of elections was postponed from last fall. The new council will serve until November of 2009.

Other newly elected council members are:

-- Vice Minister August (Augie) Titi, SFO, of Corning.
-- Secretary Marie Titi, SFO, of Corning.
-- Treasurer Jim Fagan, SFO, of Painted Post.
-- Formation Director Dr. Tom Gadziala, SFO, of Corning.
-- Councilor Gloria Snell, SFO, of Corning.

IN MAY THE FRATERNITY professed four members and gave special recognition to members with 51 years or more of service.

The newly professed are:

-- James Fagan, SFO.
-- Dr. Thomas Gadziala, SFO.
-- Ronald Snyder, SFO.
-- Cindy Synder, SFO.

Last fall the fraternity professed two other members:

-- Dominic Ferreira, SFO.
-- JoAnn Mahoney, SFO

Recognized for years of service were:

-- Fr. Francis Davis, SFO, 62 years.
-- Antoinette Thiry, SFO, 60 years.
-- Vincent “Jim” Brucie, SFO, 54 years.
-- Fr. Philip Billotte, SFO, Mary Coleman, SFO, & Eileen Reisbeck, SFO, 51 years.
