National Formation Workshop
For Fraternity Formation Directors
A national formation workshop aimed at regional and local Secular Franciscan formation directors will take place May 15-18 at the Pallottine Center in Florissant, MO, on the outskirts of St. Louis.
The workshop will feature members of the National Formation Team and cover a range of topics:
- Dynamics of Respectful Communication,
- Vocation and Discernment,
- Overview of Formation Materials,
- Use of the Ritual,
- Conflict Resolution within the Discernment Process,
- Secular Spirituality, and
- Breakout Sessions on Stages of Formation and a Meeting of Regional Formation Directors.
Evening and morning prayer will end and begin each day, with liturgies at 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Meals are included.
Cost is $260 per person double occupancy, or $350 for private room (limited number). Registration deadline is March 15. Send registration form with payment to Jan Parker, SFO, 190 Rockaway Dr., O’Fallon, MO 63368.
