Pius X Secular Franciscans Sponsor Lourdes Mass

PAINTED POST, NY -- St. Pius X Secular Franciscans are sponsoring a mass in honor of Our Lady of Lourdes, and the 150th Jubilee Year of the Lourdes apparitions, at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Painted Post. 

Fr. Pat Connor, a Secular Franciscan, will be the celebrant.

“This will be the third annual Mass that the Secular Franciscans have held in honor of Our Lady of Lourdes,” said Fraternity Minister Gloria House, SFO. “There will be a blessing with Lourdes water, and an anointing of the sick during this Mass. Lourdes water will also be available after the mass. The requested donation amount for the water has increased to $3 a bottle, as this covers the cost of bottling and shipping from Lourdes France and the Lourdes Center, in Boston, Mass.”
